Re: Opinions on halls and any info if you have
I donno if u checked it out but westbury mannor does an outdoor reception and the grounds are beautiful
I'm biased, but I love Fox Hollow...what really attracted us was the Winter Garden Pavillion room. I haven't been to Jerricho Terrace, but there seems to be a lot of JT brides on here, and the rooms look gorgeous. Those two are my favorite because I love glass ceilings.

I'm getting married June 1, 2012 @ Chateau Briand and unfortunately you can't have your ceremoney and your cocktail hour outside...it's 1 or the other.
We are having our ceremony indoors and the ch outdoors.
I don't know if I could help you on pricing since I'm getting married June and your getting married September but the place is gorgeous.

You should check out Venetian Yacht Club. We are hopefully having our ceremony outside (on the water!) and then guests can mingle from the indoor cocktail area back outside. Tables and chairs will be set up outside after the ceremony chairs etc are removed.

The only RH halls I looked out that would allow ceremony AND CH outside were Chateau la Mer and Riviera! Thats why I chose CLM because I wanted it outside as much as possible..and if it rains I'll prob freak!! and the Palm trees sold me..its one of the biggest reasons I chose there..am I nuts??

Fistl I recommend you use the search tool on the page to search The Brides Review Board for each reception hall. You'll get lots of feedbak and pics too!
Here's my personal experience at the halls u mentioned: Chateau La Mer: Never been here but it looks great! Chateau Briand: This was not my and FH's personal taste. Love the outdoor area here though! Fox Hollow: I'm Biased, we're booked here, love it! Swan Club: I don't think I've been here Coral House: I attened a wedding there years ago and the grounds/view were really nice. Overall nice experience.
Good Luck!

I am getting married in September 2012 too! We looked at Westbury Manor and Fox Hollow, and well we stopped after that, because we fell in love with fox hollow. What room were you looking into at the fox hollow? They have 3. Westbury Manor has beautiful grounds and you can do an outdoor cocktail hour there, plus have access to the grounds during the reception. I think with Fox Hollow only the Winter garden room has the outdoor cocktail space, which is located seperately from the room, unlike Westbury Manor where the gardens are right through the french doors to their garden room. The Somerley at the the fox hollow is a stunning space, but does not have a large outdoor area, but you give that up for privacy. I was in a wedding at the Swan Club, nice place pretty grounds, but I remember the cocktail area being small since it was indoors. Good luck with your search!! The brides on here are so helpful!!

Re: Opinions on halls and any info if you have
if you want someplace with a beautiful outside space, check out crest hollow and westbury manor
Based on the ones you mentioned you were interested in... I looked at coral house....but never made itt o actually meet with a banquet manager. we arrived 10 mins early for our appt so they had us wait, both FH and i needed to use the restroom (we had been to 5 other RH prior)...we both went into our resperctive restrooms and walked out shaking our heads. I got a call and said we had to leave...the bathrooms were GROSS it was off season when we looked (in March) but still, imo no excuse for a dirty bathroom
I also looked at CLM and got turned off bc... we got there on time for our appt and had to wait 25 minutes. while we waited (in their main lobby) there was a sweet 16 going on so there were guests there and i felt extremely out of place. however while we sat there, we observed the coat check man making flirty comments to the 16 yr old girls as they checked their coats. We finally ended up asking what room would be able to accommodate our size party and it was the room the sweet 16 was going on in so we were not going to be able to see it bc of the event...so we just left. poor customer service IMO esp since they asked when we made the appt how many people so they know which room to show us!!!!

I booked Fox Hollow after working with David because he is just an absolutely amazing BM. He sold me before FH even saw the place... but I fell in love with the grounds and the added convenience of having the hotel on premise. We went for dinner and drinks there a couple of times and have never been disappointed.
