Ok I realllllly want this belt for my dress, I almost love it as much as I love her!
going to put it right below my bustline
question is, how much should i order?
do i have the bling go all the way around the dress? or stop at the sides? or stop somewhere towards the back?
the woman selling it suggested I leave 2 inches off for the ribbon to tie in the back
my dress has buttons down the back
the bridal store lady said that the seamstress could tack the belt down to my dress so it doesn't move i am not sure if i want a bow hanging down my dress, i dont want a bow taking away from the dress and not sure how she would tack it down with a bow
HELP! sorry so long

Re: opinions on this belt!
What if you did the belt color in white to blend with the dress- or have the bling stop on either side of the buttons - which is what she prob meant about tacking on? I think?

Re: opinions on this belt!
belt will def be in white and will be in same material
if i have it stop right before buttons...then what? just tack it on next to buttons? no bow? or small bow?

Re: opinions on this belt!
I would have the bling stop at the zipper area. No belt
I think you need 1 or the other not both

Re: opinions on this belt!
I think they should try and stop it right at the seam on the one side and right before the buttons on the other. You don't want to lose the buttons

gorgeous belt!
i would have the belt tacked without the bow hanging. i think the bow hanging would interfere from the ruffles of the skirt.

I would try the dress again have the seamstress or someone measure you while you are in the dress then a a tiny bit extra (1/4 in) to give you room for movement

the one i LOVED at kleinfeld was $1,000
i have plenty of time to find a belt. i'm still not even sure about my dress!
i'm going to check out m&j trimming in the city to see if i can find something a bit more reasonable.

Re: opinions on this belt!
The dress that I may get is very plain so I'm adding a crystal belt. What they are going to do is sew the belt into the side seams. Did they suggest that to you?
