Okay, I want the hi centerpieces and I am not ready to settle on low ones. I want something different. I have been on a quest to find something different and look at what I came across.
They are $55 each and includes everything shown. I would add rose petals scattered around them.

I think they're nice, but they look like the picture may be deceiving as to height. How tall are they?

I think they are very pretty..maybe you could put a few colored 'gems' in the bases to match your girls dresses and the rose petals on the tables...would guests take the centerpiece home? Wow! I'df like to have the lucky penny under my plate!!!! How tall are they? how wide? where did you find them on the yankee candle website?

Yes, they are on the Yankee Candle website. however, I just did a a mock-checkout to see how much it would be For 18 centerpieces $990.00, plus shipping of $118.80 is 1108.80.
Not bad considering the cheapest quote I got for hi floral centerpieces was $1250

Given that the price difference is only $100, you should go with whichever one you like the best. Just JMHO, but I wouldn't/don't consider 11' tall. If you had low floral CP, the flowers would stand to atleast that height.

Plus the cost of the rose petals? MMMmmm the cost is getting closer..I think the real question is wht do you want? candles or flowers?

YOu could probably make them by getting the supplies at like Michael's or something for even cheaper..

I also think you could definitely make them for less. Check out ebay or michaels.

I really like them..but honestly the price seems a little high to me. They look very easy to recreate. Don't know if you considered that. It could save you a lot of money and look just as pretty. All you really need to find are glass vases like that, and last time I went to Crate and Barrel I saw some that looked very similar. The candles and gems would be minimal. Just a thought.

If that is the only price difference, i'd go with high centerpieces

They are really pretty. The rose petals would definitely look really nice scattered around. Why don't you try making them yourselves. Yankee Candle is way over priced for the most part. You could probably get that stuff for less money through AC Moore/Michaels.

Personally, I am not crazy about them. You may also want to remember that usually you don't burn scented candles around food.
