It's a celtic knot and FH and I are a combined total of 150% Irish. We're not doing a ton of Irish stuff at our wedding, but I thought this was a nice touch and soo pretty. I just want some opinions. TIA!

hmm... honestly, its not something I would wear. It looks too big and has a lot of colors.. I like more of the simple headpieces. Would you be able to try it on before buying it ? If you love it, then don't even listen to other peoples opinions and go for it.

I'm into the simpler things too, but this just caught my eye. It's really not too big but I'll definitely have to try it on. And there aren't any colors, I think it's just the way the light is hitting it, which I should take into account... it's just crystals and silver. It's $100, which isn't too bad, but I dont' want to shell out $$ when I'm not 100% sure...

It's really really nice! I'm 100% irish too (FH is 100% italian) and I'm trying to incorporate a couple of irish things into the wedding. Where did you find it? I really like the one in the background too with the claddaugh!

I found it in an Irish store in W.Babylon. The only other Irish touch I'll add to the wedding is we'll be using unity candles that have claddaughs on them simply because we feel that the unity candle represent everything the claddaugh represents as well. This store also sell the 5 pence (sp?) to put in your shoe on you wedding day.

yea I know what you mean! Every time I'm in the car and we pass an Irish stop I either make FH stop or I make a note of it so I can come back!
Do you know the company that made that particular headpiece?
