Opinions on Veil with Flower

So I know I want a flower in my hair but I also want to wear a veil for the ceremony. I had mentioned to someone that I was planning on wearing both and they thought it would look weird (or too much going on) and that I should wear the veil first and then put the flower in after I take the veil. I kinda really wanted to flower in my hair for the ceremony as well.

So I found a few pictures on google and I wanted to get your girls' opinions.

Should I just wear my veil and the switch to the flower afterward or should I wear them both together?

I am planning on doing my hair all up if that makes a difference.

I think you can totally do it. Hairdressers I've heard comment on the subject say it's fine to wear both together.

edit: and I personally think it looks nice

I thought so too and then this person who i was talking to was making me doubt it. I said wait until I have a hair trial and we will see what it looks like but I personally like the 2 together.

I love the look of the pics that you posted. I'm doing a veil for the ceremony and first half of the reception, then switching to a flower for the second half. My veil comes up pretty high on my head though so in my case I don't think it looks right. In the pics that you posted, the veil is much lower and I LOVE the look!

I love the look of them together! Your veil is pretty simple w just those crystal accents. It would look fab w a flower tying the look together

I think the pictures you posted look very nice.

BUT I can totally see how on some people/some hair styles/etc it could look like too much.

or depending on how the hair/veil look together.

when you go for a hair trial..have them put the flower in, when you get home put the veil on and see how it looks together -I think that is the only way to know for sure.

I love the way they looks together. Especially if your hair is going to be all up and low like in the pics. I think it look beautiful.

before i scrolled down to see the pix, i thought it might be too much going on just imagining it in my head, but once i saw the pix u posted, I think it looks beautiful!!! I think you can def have both on at the same time!

From the pics I think it looks great..but as someone else stated if your veil is too high up it might not look good.

Just post pics after your hair trial then we can tell you better

I am doing the same thing except i dont plan on wearing the veil the whole time so i think for the ceremony i'm only wearing the veil then after that i'm taking it off and putting the flower in.

are u going to wear a head pieace or just the flower? because the flower is comparable to a head piece and people wear veils with headpieces so i think its fine!
