Opinions, Please

We purchased this chaise .. I was hoping to get opinions on this lamp that I am considering .. it's on sale at JCPenny.com for $79.

What does everyone think of that lamp with that chaise??? (It's in our bedroom .. we have the sleighbed set pictured at the bottom)

I loooove the chaise and the bed, but honestly, I'm not crazy about the fringes on the lamp. JC Penny has a LOT of lamps to choose from - I bought one there last week (the JC Penny home store in lake grove)

All opinions are welcome!

I wasn't sure I was crazy about the lamp either .. but the more I look at the elements in the room .. the more I think it would fit .. so many of the other lamps are just too traditional looking .. and that's really not our room .. it's more of a romantic colonial/victorian type than traditional. (I think).

I'm not really a fan of standing lamps in general, but I think the lamp goes very well with your decor.

Neither am I .. but we need a light in that corner .. and the floor lamp just seems like the best solution.

I think the lamp will go great with the chaise. I think it is a very pretty lamp.

I like the stand on the lamp, but not crazy about the shade - fringe and heart thing in particular.

Thanks everyone!

I've been fighting with myself over whether I like it enough to get it .. I think it works with the room .. but not sure if I 'love' it .. but I definitely like it to fit the room better than anything else I've been able to find.

Anyone else???
