A few days ago, I posted about getting shares of stock for members of the wedding party. I still can`t help but think what a unique and different idea this is. However, we don`t have much time if we`re going to order them. As it is, because of the time for delivery, we`d only be safe on going with the Disney stock. Any other choice might take too long.
My question is, what is everyone`s opinion on this idea? A share of Disney stock for each member of the wedding party. It comes framed with a personalized plaque. And the recipients would be entitled to dividend checks.

We`re having a really hard time thinking of what to get everyone, especially the guys. None of them are into golf, we don`t want to do flasks, zippos, cigar cutters. Mugs have already been done by other recent grooms, as have BBQ utensils.
Also, how much is everyone spending on this. One couple we know spent about $40, while another couple we know spent about $100.
We really don't want to get them something they won't use, and most of the things that are for engraving seem to be stuff most people won't use.
The one I got them is the Sterling Silver Paloma Picasso heart. It's not a pendant, but is attached to the 16' chain. It was $85 I think. I was actually torn between 4 in that price range. You should try to check them out (they are not on the website.) I know every girl loves getting that blue box!
Hi Kel, My future SIL is a big Disney fan, and has a stock certificate hanging in here den. She'd love your idea because she's a huge Disney fan. Are your friends big fans, too? If not, it may just end up on a shelf. I've owned Disney stock for years (and lost $$$ on it :(

We went with necklaces for the girls and Coach wallets for the guys...I also treated my MOH to her makeup application on the day of and have ordered enlargements of one of the proofs of the girls from that day and when its done I will give it to them in a nice frame...
(I didn't read any of the other responses), but it think it's a great idea. I love that it's so original. Disney stock is known to split as well. Great idea.
