Im bad but Im over budget now and looking for ways to cut my list at this point. My FH has 4 people that he wanted to invite, he actually invited them, I really don't know them but he claims he grew up with these people. Anyway they just responded a month over the deadline. I would like to say it is too late. But I guess I can't at this point right Okay I have to be nice...

Well technically you can politely tell them that your final count is already complete and they missed the date by over a month and you don't know if you can accommodate them....
Or you could be the sweet bride that you are and just include them

Honestly, maybe try cutting your budget somewhere else. I think its a little late to take back an invitation dont you?

I hate late responses!!! We didn't receive a response from one of FH's friends from high school. We waited two weeks before contacting him. FH sends him an email (to avoid the awkward phone conversation) and NO RESPONSE!!!!!!!! Finally FH called and left him a message. The guy called back and said he thought his wife sent it in. They can't come though which is good because I would have had to toally redo the seating chart. I feel your pain girl!

I think that most people know that the 'final count' is due to the reception hall the week before.
