I was MOH at one of my best friend's wedding in February. Now that day was a horrible day for my family. My great-aunt, who was like another grandmother, died suddenly in another country that morning (this is just a 1 1/2 months after my other great-aunt also like a grandmother to me died-they helped raise my mom) so my parents had to leave at a minute's notice and as you can imagine my sister and I were not in the best spirits. But being that she is my best friend I went through the day for her with a smile on my face-even sang the Ave Maria for her at church. Went to the reception and stayed knowing that my sister and I would have to take a plane at 6 in the morning to go to the funeral in latin america.
Fast forward to now. My hairstylist is related to my friend's husband. And she commented about a month ago how beautiful the thank you card and pictures were (she couldn't go at the last moment because her husband was hospitalized). Of course I was a bit stunned. I haven't received one neither has my sister or my uncle. Being MOH I haven't even seen the pictures or video. If I was special enough to be asked to be MOH shouldn't I be special enough to see the pictures and video?
Should I say something or just let it go?

I'm sure that you gave your friend a gift. Being in the BP and even singing Ave Maria, you should have been one of the first to receive a TY. Just mention that you have seen the TY, and the pic was lovely. Let your friend take it from there.

The aunt didn't show it to me. And yes I did give her a gift, did her wedding programs in Spanish and English and sang and helped her with the wedding stuff (she had 12 bridesmaids, only 3 of us plus her sister and SIL helped with the wedding preparations.) I'm starting to get a little upset that I haven't seen anything regarding her wedding And I just realized she didn't help with any of my sister's wedding stuff. She got held up somewhere that she didn't make it to the Mass.

That's a hard call. Depends on your relationship to your friend. I personally HATE not getting a thank you card. I get very insulted. However, I have a friend (very sweet and very absent-minded) who only sent out half of her thank yous. Over a year later she found the other half stamped and ready to go, sitting in her trunk. She felt it was too late to send them and threw them out. So don't take this to heart. It may be an honest mistake.
