opinions please!

Invitaion wording: Tell me what you think!

Mr. and Mrs. John and Amy Smith
together with
Mr. and Mrs. Antonio and Juliana Simpson
Request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of
Lorraine Christine Smith
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Amy Smith
to
Alexandre Texeira
Son of Mr. Julio Cesar Texeira
Mrs. Juliana Simpson
Saturday, the sixth of June
Two Thousand and Nine
at eight o'clock in the evening (night?)

*for now, forget capitalizations

My parents and his mom and step dad are helping to pay for the wedding, but his dad needs to be included on the invite or else he's going to be really offended. And the step dad needs to be there in too since he's helping to pay (like 10%)

Anyone have any better suggestions?

I like it and its definitely less wordy, but I feel uneasy about including his dad before the 'request the honour...' part cuz his dad is in Brazil and isnt even coming to the wedding. He just needs to be on the invite so he doesn't feel offended.

what if, to make it even a slight bit less wordy, you wrote
Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
together with
Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Simpson, & Mr. Julio Cesar Texeira

Request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of
Lorraine Christine Smith
to
Alexandre Texeira

just cut out the other 2 names? The wifes name is technically implied by writing Mr. and Mrs.
what do you think?

I would scratch the beginning then-just do together with their parents at the

Basically the opposite way that it is done above. This way the names are still there but its less wordy.

Alexandre Texeira
Son of Mr. Julio Cesar Texeira
Mrs. Juliana Simpson
Request the honour of your presence
