I have posted this question before, but have not gotten much feedback. I think we are doing the mini wine bottles as favors-is it ok to do one per couple if I do chocolate too, or do I I have to do one per person? Most people are telling me 1 per couple is ok, but I am not sure.

Re: Opinions, PLEASE.....
An event I went too recently did wine and did one per person - they sat the bottles in front of each place setting

Re: Opinions, PLEASE.....
This is exactly what I'm doing. One mini bottle per couple, and a box of chocolate for each person.

IMO anything edible should be per person. However with the wine/champagne - - it depends on the size you pick.

Re: Opinions, PLEASE.....
Ok- good. One per couple and chocolate. What kind of chocoalte are you using, Misty? I am thinking maybe those Lindt truffles- I love those!
Sanmik- I saw your post after. The bottles are pretty little. but I thought with the chocolate per person it might be ok? I wouldn't mind doing one bottle per person, but I don't want the table to be too crowded.

I am doing one per person. They are so small and they are not costly. this is my only favor though.

I think one per couple is fine if you do the chocolates also. I think the little bottles hold like 2 glasses of wine so thats perfect!!!! : )

Why not wrap the items in pretty tulle, there would be less clutter and it addes a decorative look to tables. This way you can have 1 bag per couple/invitee.

I tend to think that edibles should be one per person - especially with mini wine. Even though they say each bottle has 2 servings, it's really more like 1.5

Mini-bottles I think should be one per person, full size bottles should be one per couple. I think the full size bottles are much nicer IMO and will probably cost you the same as one per person mini-size. Choc. can be placed at each table seating and look really nice that way.

Re: Opinions, PLEASE.....
I used mini white chocolate hearts that I bought from bulkfoods. They are very yummy!!
And whenever I got the mini bottles as favors, it was one per couple. People never drink them anyway because they think they are cute!
I wrapped my champagne bottles in tulle circles with the silver edging (if you do this, you need the 18' circles!!), I wrapped a name ribbon around the neck, with mini teeny wedding bells I got at Michaels. They look adorable!!

Whenever I've received a mini wine as a favor, it's always been 1 per couple. I think you'll be fine, especially with the chocolates for each person
I think mini wines should be one per person...full bottles (I agree with Michele...a better option...but probably slightly more expensive) one per couple

Oh well, maybe I'll look cheap then!
But I think the chocolates make up for it.

Re: Opinions, PLEASE.....
I was considering the mini wine bottles when we were getting married. I was going to give one per person.

Re: Opinions, PLEASE.....
In my opinion - the wine bottles can be one per couple, but I would do one per person for the chocolates.

Re: Opinions, PLEASE.....
Misteyed- I think i will look cheap with you. I looked in to the full bottles- they are more than 2 mini's would be. FSMIL is paying for them, and I don't want her to have to pay for more than what she thinks is necessary- I was thinking about just paying the difference, but I think I will do one per couple with the chocolate. another question- what about kids? They can't get wine- do you just skip their setting, or give it to them anyway?
