I've been looking for a faux fur bolero for my bridesmaids to wear over their dresses. I also wanted it to be something they could use again. I figured, they could use it if they were attending a wedding in the winter, or going out somewhere nice. Or . . . go ghetto fab and wear it with a pair of jeans and spikes.

I think the bolero would look nice with the dresses and make for really great pictures.
eta - and I think the bolero would look better than a pashmina and more practical for the time of year.
I would personally use a pashmina more after the wedding.

It's cute, but I've never really been a fan of the bolero. Just not my style. I'd much prefer a pashmina.

that is really nice.. but yah a pashmina is more wearable in my opinion.. i have a faux fur bolero too at home and it sits in the box most of the time...

i'd love to do a bolero too...
but i saw one of those with ony of my BM and she (unknowingly) made me nervous to get them as a gift.
she was like.... oh, that's so not my style.
a pashmina is more 'practical' in that they can wear it again and is a 'safe' choice.

Now - do I try to find a pahsmina that matches the dress or just go basic black?
