As most of you know, I've decided on a peacock theme. I will be doing dark purple (probably a plum) for BM dresses. I found this gorgeous dress pin on Etsy that can be put on a sash and I want my BM to wear it with their dresses. But I'm not sure if I want just my maid/matron of honors to wear it so they can stand out a little or have my bridesmaids wear it as well.
I attached a pic of the dress pin.
So, I'm curious, what would you do? Have all the girls wear it or just maid/matron of honor?
I don't think either way you can go wrong. If you want them to stand out more then I would just give it to them. If you want all the bridesmaid to have it then get it for all of them. Maybe different sizes? Not sure if I was any help. Although I love the pin!

I think it would be a nice accent for all of them because it's so nice! Maybe have your MOH wear something in her hair as well? IDK, that may be overkill but if it's done right it could look really nice!

Is your moh wearing the same dress? If so that might make it a nice way for her to stand out but the pin is really nice so it would look beautiful on all the girls

I don't have dresses picked out yet. Only color and most likely chiffon. I know the pin will look good on lots of dresses with a sash so I'm not worried about having the exact dressed picked. So I'm not sure if I will have my maid and matron of honor in different dresses than the bridesmaids.
I'm still debating.. lol. I think I may end up getting it for them all cuz its so pretty! Or I was thinking if I put the maid and matron of honors in the belt then I can do a peacock hair clip for the 3 bridesmaids?? But I've also been thinking of maybe wearing a hair clip myself which brings me back to putting all the BM in the belt. Decisions, decisions.. As you can see I'm all over the place lol

Its soo beautiful!!! I dont think u can go wrong either way but I think they'll look great on everyone's dresses and then do something different in MOHs hair.

I would do the MOH and matron of honor for the, to stand out. A lot want to be different and that's def a way to do it! And if u decide for the girls to all have it then do something different like a diff type dress same color similar style

You can have them all wear it, but have your MOH/maitron of honors wear a different style dress in the same color. Another option is have the MOH/matrons of honor wear a different color that goes with your peacook color scheme. Maybe teal or royal blue?

Not to sound like a dream smasher--but has anyone heard of a superstition about peacock feathers???? I was talking with a bride-to-be about them and she said one of her BM's REFUSED to wear any peacock feather on her body, hair or even in her flowers bc of some tradition. I had never heard of that!! Just curious... it was strange to me

Hmm I never heard of that before. Im going to have to google it lol. Luckily Im nkot a superstitious person and both my MOHs love the theme and belt so Im good lol

I think that dress with your idea is perfect for the MOH. I think your BM can wear the teal that's they use in the brochet and they don't wear any accents. Perhaps you can make the boqsmore of your theme too with the pea **** feather. Great idea!!!!

I love it, that clip is gorgeous! I would put one in my hair, and then have the maid of honor/s wear them on their dress... but anyway you include it will look beautiful!

Thanks for all the fedback ladies. Im still thinking of what to do. I already contacted the seller on Etsy and told her I am interested just didnt know how many yet.
I love it so much though I am leaning towards getting it for all of them.
For me, ive been browsing and have seen some really pretty hair clips and also clips to add to the side or back of your shoes (I plan to have purple or blue shoes). So we will see....

I absolutely love it--I would definitely consider different color dresses for the MOH and bridesmaids that way they can all wear it--it is absolutely stunning!

First off I LOVE the pin! And I think that it would be nice if you just had your maid/matron of honor with it on. Like you said it will make them stand out a bit more
