opinion.......what are the pros and cons of one hair/makeup person

don't you think they will be tired doing 6BM hair, 5 makeup, plus my hair and makeup, and my moms????

I am trying to see if its better to get one person for hair and one for makeup, or if getting one person instead.

Give me your opinions please!

Usually for a lot of people like that they come with a team at least 1 or 2 assistants to work on the bm's and then the main girl does you, mom and moh

Im sorry........I guess I wasn't clear.......i meant using one person who does BOTH hair and makeup....so one person (possibly an assistant) doing 6 BM hair, 1 Bridal hair, one MOB hair, and 7 faces of makeup?

they would have to start SUPER early to do that! and yea, i would think they would be a little tired of it by the end. i would worry they would start rushing just to be done... which they probably wouldn't bc it's their job to do a good job, but i would still worry about it haha

I think its alot, I have one person doing make up and other doing hair. JMO

I have 1 girl doing both hair and makeup but she said that she will only be doing hair/makeup on me, my mom and my sis. If I were to decide to have any BM's get their hair/makeup done as well then she would have her assistant work on them. Honestly, I feel like they do this all the time so I don't think it's a lot for them, they are prob used to it by now.

i would recommend 2 seperate vendors since its going to take a LONG time if one girl does it for everyone. in that case i would imagine they would bring assistants.

i had 1 person. and loved it. waaay less to coordinate and less trials to go to

if she was doing other ppl, she would have brought an assistant to get everyone started. she would do the finishing touches on everyone since she is the best

i think its fine. i preferred just having 1 person

Anytime i have an event..and i want to splurge and do my makeup..Sandra to the rescue..lol....
I recommended both of them to a very good friend of mine for her wedding..she was very happy with the results!!
And very positive people to have around you the day of.. if it wasn't for Jen.. i think i would have hurt someone in my house that day..lolol

If you have an extremely small bridal party then I think one hair/makeup person would work. I have 7 BM's, 2 FG's getting hair done only (they're 9 and 12 but that's what they wanted to be called) and then MOB and MOG. I requested 1 hair person with asst and 1 makeup person with asst so we don't have to wake up at the azz crack of dawn!

this is just my opinion...and experience.

One person can;t be good at both.

Just like hairdressers..

not all colorists are good cutters and vuce versa etc.

You can really have only one strength and make up and hair are so different.
