Oppps surprised kinda ruined! - clm small note on bottom
Last night met with our officiant who is a family friend and the mayor of our town and we go to our hall to go over somethings. (fh was a WRECK which was so funny to me - he was crying when we went over vows).
Anyway our officiant asks about us having guinness which is on my contract which he though might not happen. Lou who hasn't been dealing with us goes let me see on the contract/notes. He picks it up and starts reading off the special requests. He goes, 'irish soda bread, guinness in a can (he goes in a can? - i said it makes sure you get the right one and not the one i hate and also i am giving you guys pint glasses to serve it in anyway), he goes okay then goes on about the kids meal to be peanut free which is normal then goes step dancers at reception and goes yep all there.
I go in my head and look at tom - step dancers? IoI Pretend not to hear it at all and we leave and Fh goes just look surprised please your parents went through a lot to have a step dancing troop come in and dance for our reception. OOOOOOPS! Hahaha
I knew something was up because my bm keeps going oh yea and the surprise at the reception is going to rock all of our families and i am like what surprise and she goes oh yea you don't know IoI
OH for CLM girls - they do have outstanding permits with the town that need to be approved before any work needs to be done on the hall. They are telling the truth, the mayor said they are going to start passing them but they are in the middle of a busy season which is really uncommon for this time and the town/village is backlogged.
