Oprah!!

so so sad. they were showing clips of the wedding and it looked like it was at CLM!

i can't believe that people STILL drink and drive after all these horrible accidents and losses!

I know! It's so disturbing that there are so many drunk driving incidents every single day and people are still cruel enough to do it. I don't know what I'm going to be like when I have kids...I'm petrified to think of them driving!

I think it was chateau la mer, I remember when that happened, it was on the Northern State or the Meadowbrook

I saw the special once on HBO and it was about underage kids who drank/did drugs and drove and got into horrible accidents but miraculously survived. They vowed to never ever be under the influence again, and one kid who swore up and down that he would never drink or do drugs again (he was 15 by the way) started drinking and getting high again! What is wrong with some people??

they're selfish and their priorities are completely out of order

OMG thats so horrible, I didnt watch it bec I am at work but I would prob have changed the channel bec I just cant watch that stuff makes me cry, thats so sad, they should put a divider down that highway.

Unfortunaly it would probably still happen. I live in Rochester and on our expressways we have dividers and twice this year people have gone onto the express ways using the off ramps and have killed 3 people. Its really sad i think that the government needs to take responsiblity for the drunk drivers they keep 'letting off the hook'

The laws on drinking and driving are too leaniant.

I haven't watched it yet. I taped it on my DVR so I could fast forward parts I couldn't handle. It breaks my heart. I feel like it just happened. I remember all the flowers and pictures they put on the spot. People were shocked when they drove passed it.

A limo leaving a wedding was traveling on the Meadowbrook Pkwy. A SUV was traveling in the wrong direction and hit them head on, killing a 5 year old girl Kate and the limo driver.

it was westbury manor july 2005, if i am correct. martin heidegen the drunk driver received severe punishment.

actually the wedding was in bayville, i think cresent beach club. unless there is another wedding venue there.

The poor little girl was decapitated.

I am so mad i missed it!! These people get off way too easily with drunk driving! as hard as they enforce it...they should make the sentances just as hard!!!! They guy who killed my friend in his dwi accident got 3-10 and hell prob serve only 6 for killing a 20 year old kid and driving 100 MPH down hempstead tkp!!! crazy!
