I am considering optimum voice. We disconnected our home phone and have just been using our cell phones.
However, I think we need a home phone though, but I refuse to reconnect my phone with the phone co.

I have both, but do you get caller ID for the call beeping in? That is what I don't have.....maybe it is the type of phone I have
Nope, I dont get it either...thats the only thing I dont like about it. But for half the price of our Verizon line (and having LD included) I can live without it till they get it

My FW says they have gotten MUCH better with their Optimum Voice. In the last four months... they have made some serious upgrades to the services.
She works for Cablevision and she says the volume of Optimum Voice calls has gone down bigtime.
