Hi All, Does anyone know if you have a friend/family member ordained online, does new york state recognize it as legal and who can you call to confirm? Thanks so much!

some girl on here said that her friend got ordained online and then found out that class she took wasnt recognized- so this friend still did the majority of the ceremony but then had a judge come in to actually make it legal- so i would call your town hall and make sure before you pay for the course.... they are a bunch of different courses online.

i'm pretty sure it is recognized, depending what website she uses, but not in new york city unless she/he goes and registers and pays a fee.
