is anyone ordering their bridesmaid dresses on-line?
if so, which site are you using??
my cousins (who are apparently very cheap) think that its no worries to just order from some random website that they found. however, i am telling them that i am concerned that the dresses are just cheap knock-offs, made of crappy material.
they are just not listening to me.
i seriously have had a stress headache since Sunday because of this dress bulI$h*t & am one e-mail away from saying, 'I am the bride, you will do what I say.'

Re: ordered bridesmaid dresses on-line
I saw a website once that had decent prices and I was thinking of ordering ONE dress to check it out and if it's good, i'd give it to my sister. I am still trying to find what website it was because like an idiot, I didn't save it!

I have heard good things about NetBride. I have heard bad things about HouseOfBrides.
If you feel more comfortable buying the dress from a physical store, places like RK Bridal, will match the lowest price. So you could go to RK Bridal with a print-out of an online price and they will match that price and beat it by 5%. I would recommend doing it this way, that way you're getting the dress from a legit manufacturer. I think you can do something similar at Here Comes the Bridesmaid as well.

I contimplated having my girls order their dresses online. I don't think they would 'look like cheap knock offs'...I would be concerned that the colors don't exactly match though. Thats why dress shops order all dresses at once, so they will be apart of the same dye.

What did you hear about HouseofBrides just out of curiosity?

i only said cheap knock-offs, because for a friends wedding last year, she was going to use HouseOfBrides. When they received the dress it was made of some kind of cheap poly blend material. when someone tried it on they instantly broke of in hives.

wow, thats scary. if you physically see the dress in a store and then order it online, then you know what quality to expect, im sure there are places that will accept returns as well.

Christine... scout around BK to find these dresses for cheaper... there are so many places that carry Bari Jay. (Lotus, Lestans, Doris, Kelly's Kreations, Isabelle's (on Ave U). I would not go through the trouble ordering online because of the change that these sites are not legit.

I ordered the below dress for my brothers wedding- I got lucky cause they had one 'in-stock' and only paid 100 bucks for it.. I LOVE it.. it was TRUE to size and its an original. the service is great as well.
Also Netbride.com has FABULOUS Prices and i have heard great things about them. I think u may want to go try a dress on somewhere and see how it fits- But also.. RK bridal offers the NO FRILLS program which saves you $$ as well
