So i ordered my dress and they told me that it is going to come in next april, this way I do not have to worry about storing it somewhere or anything like that. Is anyone elses dress coming in that late. I see all of you are getting your dresses and Im wondering if I should make them change it to earlier????

congrats on ordering your dress.....do you have any pics? i ordered mine in February and it wont be her til Nov but thats b4 all the fittings

It does take quite a few months to get your dress in. Some stores will hold the dress for you until you're ready to take it home, but if your store doesn't I think it's a good idea to get it later.

I ordered in February andd it was supposed to be in this July. It came really early (like less than a month after I ordered). So your dress might come earlier.

Congrats! I'm hopefully ordering my dress next week. Pending on the dress, meaning if its being made to fit your height and size exactly, a lot dresses need at least 8-10 months to be made. Why that long, I have no idea, but that's what I've been told by bridal salons. Which bridal salon did you go to? I don't think you have anything to worry about!

they told me the dress could come in about a month if the designer has it in stock in my size. or it might take about 10 months or so. my place doesnt store so i will have to take it home...thankfully we have some extra closet space so i should be ok.

Congrats on ordering your dress...Wow your dress is beautiful - I didn't realize it takes that long to order a dress & to receive it...When I went to look - the place I went to said I didnt have to order it until next winter....But I want to order around the year mark...

I think that is fine...most of the times I have heard of dresses coming in much earlier than you think. I was told by this one salon if I ordered it now it would come in February. ANd depending on if there needed to be alot of alterations to the dress and bustle it was a good four months before my wedding to get that and the fittings done....dont worry...everything will be fine!!!
