Ordered invitess and got FG dress!!!
PHEW...busy weekend! YEA!!! I ordered my invitations. First i went to party city to order 125 invites, lined innner and outer envelopes(our address on the back), response, and reception card. So after i placed the order, i speak with my step-mom who informs me that a friend of the family gets invites at cost and i should call her. So i went to party city, cancelled my order (they were so nice about it-had to lie a little though) called the women and sure enough she deals with the company i am using!! So she is ordering everything for us for $130 less (my invite was sort of pricey-atleast i think so) and i am getting a sample. i am so happy and releived, not that i don't trust party city, but i am glad i am dealing with a real person. She is going to review all the wording and make sure everything is correct- who could ask for more :)
And then on sun i went with FG to get a dress, we went to david bridal and we chose the 1st dress she tried on. It so pretty and my uncle is awesome...he bought her shoes, pocketbook, headpiece, and necklance too, so shes pretty much taken care of :) I didn't get my dress or BM dress there, but i figured it was perfect for her as she is growing and why make my uncle spend a lot on a dress she'll wear only to my wedding.
