When I met with the bridal consultant I told her the three things I absolutely did not want - strapless, mermaid style or poofy skirt. It turned out that the only two dresses (out of the 15 that I tried on) that I absolutely fell in love with were a form-fitting mermaid and strapless!! I bought the strapless.
Its funny how it works out, what you think you dont want and end up loving!

funny, i also went in saying absolutely no strapless, yadda yadda, and walked out with - you guessed it - the strapless.

i thought you needed boobs for strapless (which excludes me ), but what i realized is that you actually just need broadness in your shoulders for it to look good. so i'm sure you looked great!

it's beautiful. When I went shopping i brought pics with me and HATED each one of them on, I jsut by chance agreed to try on the last one and I loved it

it's beautiful.
i too, went in wanting straps on my dress and a lot of beading. the dress i fell in love with has No beading and it's strapless.

that is so funny, i walked in thinking i was going to get the biggest poofiest dress in the store, strapless, etc. i ended up w/ a slight capped sleave A-line. when its the one its the one!
