Ordered my dress!!!!!! And e-pics preview and more!
OMG! Today was an such an amazing day!!!
First, I went to order my dress at Paradise. When I went there originally about a month ago they didn't have my dress in the store, but they would order it for me directly.
I knew I wanted to try on veils so I asked to try a different dress with a similar shape so I could get an idea of what I liked. Nothing was jumping out at me as 'my' veil.
So, the girls at the store told me I could take the $200 credit for a veil and come back when my dress comes in. Ugh, I'm not that patient. So I told them I would think about it and come back later with my decision.
Well, we're walking out of the store and out of the corner of my eye I see MY dress! They literally JUST got it in!!! No one in the store had even seen it before! I was the first bride to ever wear that dress there! EEEEE!!!!!
I tried on more veils this time with my dress and I may have fallen in love with a waaaaayyy too expensive veil. Oops.
It's a cathedral length veil with a rhinestone edge paired with a 2 tier rhinestone edge elbow length veil. OMG, it looks gorgeous!!!!!
Soooo, anyone know where I can find something cheaper than $700. LOL
While we were there I had my mom try on some dresses and I think she may have found hers also. It looks incredible on her! It's a chiffon dress with similar layered crisscross ruffles like in my dress, with rouching on the top that completely defines her waist with just a touch of bling in the front. It was the first dress she tried on though, so she's going to keep looking, but I think that one is it!
Edit to add mom's possible dress. It would be in lilac:
Mom's Dress (It looks way better on my mom than on the skinny model.)
Also, while I'm at the store I got an email from the girl who did our e-pics that she blogged our preview! Rock!
We'll be getting the rest of the pics tomorrow and I can't wait!!!!!
