ordered my dress today!! But...

Now im not sure about the color!! I chose white, but I dont know if I shouldve gotten Ivory!! Im not sure what color the one I tried on was now that I think about it. I found the dress at RK and am ordering it from a local salon. Also, she measured me a 6, and I am very petite I feel like I should get a 4, there is only an inch difference and I plan on going to the gym starting in January to tone up. Any suggestions pleassse!!

The dress is gorgeous!!!!!

Maybe call the store and ask what the sample color was?

Also about the size, I would stick to what they measured you as. You can always take the dress in worse comes to worse.

First of all, congrats on your dress purchase!!!!

I just went through the SAME thing yesturday when I ordered my gown....color and size. They measured me at a size 10 but the size 8 was only a difference of 1 inch and I tried on the 6 and it was snug.......so I ordered the size 8 (my street clothes are a size 5/6). NO clue why they told me to order a 10

The color got me nervous too! I was going to order Ivory, then white, then ivory again!!! Ahhhhhh, well, I ended up getting white ONLY becuase the Jim Hjelm white is a soft white almost light ivory.......

Can you call the RK bridal salon and ask them what color the sample was that you tried on?

Pretty Dress one suggestion in the bridal world the sizes are off so the bridal sizes are smaller in cut than the street sizes

Yah I probably will call them and find out!! Thanks girls. I will probably stick to the 6 you figure they know what the're doing right!! She said that the ivory was only a little diff than the white, but you guys know how it is, I am freaking out about it!!

Actually it was really good. I am not ordering my dress from them but thats where I found this dress and my BM dresses. Im from CT and no one around me has either dress!! The BM dress is Spring 07 so I couldnt believe they had it already. The first time I went there was on the Friday of Veterans day. It was a little crazy but I got in and out. They have a sign up sheet and you have to waite to be called. The girl that helped me was really nice. Then I went back to try the dress again on a Saturday, and it was MOBBED!! The list was crazy and all I wanted to do was try the one dress on. Well the girl that helped me was working and she remembered me and told me to grab the dress threw me in it and I was out of there!! The BM list was closed for the day when I got there!! They were nice enough to sneak us in as well. But they have a veryyy large selection in both bridal and BM. I def would recommend going there. It is very overwhelming though at first!!
