Ordered my headpiece this weekend

I am so relieved!!!! There was a lot accomplished this weekend. I went to Patchogue Floral's Fantasyland(what a place!!!) and found the perfect headpiece and veil--they will be ready June 2 for my July 6 wedding. Then I went to Pina Shop and found a necklace. Yesterday my MOH dragged my out to the mall to see a pair of shoes she like for the wedding and ended up finding a pair for me too. I also bought some cheap Ked-like sneakers to decorate with lace & pearls for dancing at the reception.
I was sooo stressed last week, when I began to make a list of everything I still needed to get--I'm feeling much better now.

I got my headpiece at Patchogue Floral too! In fact, I was there picking it up on Saturday. What kind of piece did you choose?

I had bought mine from Bridal Boutique in Massapequa. They had a very large array of headpieces. And reasonable prices.

What does the headpieces look like that you both at fantasyland?

I live in Massapequa so I went to the Bridal Boutique a few weeks ago. They did have a lot, but I guess I wasn't in the right frame of mind to find anything I liked. I also ended up buying something totally different from what I went there to look for.
My headpiece is a headband style with pearls wrapped around it. My dress is candlelight so the headpiece needs to be dyed to match. The veil is two-tiered with the longest layer at fingertip length.
JennRenee, I was there after lunch and saw one bride there picking up a headpiece. The girl behind the counter was hot gluing something on it.

My headpiece is a silver bun wrap in the shape of figure 8's laying on their sides, attached at the ends, with crystals spaced out all around it (about every inch or so). Kind of hard to describe, as you can see!

Jenn Z, I was there around 11am, so I guess we weren't there at the same time. Would have been funny though!

JennRenee, your headpiece sounds really pretty. I love the bun wrap look.

Thanks, and yours does too! I would have loved to have worn a headband, but myhair looks stringy when I leave it down

Nicky

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you.

Patchogue's Floral Fantasyland is in Patchogue(of course)on County Rd 101. If you take Sunrise Hwy it's Exit 55, then go south on 101. The phone # is (631) 475-2059.

Bridal Boutique is on Sunrise Hwy in Massapequa. I don't have their phone # on me.
