Ordered our Invites AND Chose BM dresses

It's been a productive weekend!

We ordered our invites on Friday from Invitations by Joan. Joan really knows what she's doing, and is very intuitive about what would make us happy. There aren't good pics of it online. The real colors are ice blue and bright orange - they look so nice together!

We ended up choosing the BM dresses from Ann Taylor. We tried them on first, and then went to a bridal salon to try on more traditional dresses, and the girls unanimously chose the Ann Taylor dresses. Hey, if they're happy, I'm happy! I let them choose the style they wanted, as long as they had the same color and fabric. but they all chose the same exact dress. Hey, easy enough!

i cant wait to see what your invites look like in the real colors! what are your wedding colors going to be?

They WERE going to be orange, pink, and yellow. Then we found those invites and the ice blue looked so great with the bright orange, I had a total change of heart. For the first time, I was able to put it all together in my head and see what i want my tables to look like, the dresses with the flowers, etc.

So, a light, shimmery blue (the BMs will wear this and it will be the color of the table runners) with bright orange and pink flowers (in our bouquets and centerpieces).

WOO HOO! Those are my BM dresses too Dava! Well, I think 3 of the 6 girls picked that one!!!

(ours are in sage....)

Where is Joan?

I love the dresses. My girls picked Ann Taylor Dresses too.

BTW you are getting married on my 5 yr. anniversary. I originally wanted that date but it's before the end of the school year. Also, I love Joel McHale too!!! FH doesn't understand why I find him so amusing.
