Ordered STD's

FH's ex-step-mom (lol) has a printing company and volunteered to do our STD's as our engagement gift. She just sent me the proof. I am really not thrilled with them because I had something different in mind, but since they are a gift I didn't want to be bossy and tell her how I wanted things.

They are just so plain the only color on the magnet is our last names (that I took out) are in dark red.

Are they as bad as I think they are? Or acceptable?

since its just a proof I don't think it would be bossy to just ask if its possible to add some more color. Maybe you can make the leaves in color. I think that would look great!!

I would not think it would be bossy to make suggestions I would if you wanted them changed.

I asked her to add some color...and thats when she made our last names dark red. Then I asked her to change the border color and she completely disregarded what I said. I deemed it necessary to just shut up at thtat point AHH!

Maybe reiterate the border again and the colors that you want, and if she disregards it a second time, then I would back off.

I think they are nice, just plain. But it's only a STD right? It's not supposed to be the most amazing thing anyone has ever seen

i would totally have the names (not just the last name) colored to make it pop along with the border.

i would do yellow and orange, or yellow & red or orange & red for the fall theme.

the leaves probably won't get colored but at least tell her to try my suggestion.

and yes, they are cute, they just need some work done to them (and i don't mena this in a bad way...just small little tweaks)

maybe you can get ur FH to ask her?
