Ordering a veil question....swatch?

Ordering a veil question....swatch?

Is it really necessary to have a swatch of your dress when you order a veil? When I visited Barron's a while back, he said he could use one. But if I say my dress is diamond white and they must do TONS of veils to match Maggie dresses, won't they just know it'll match?

And do I have to wait for my dress to come in to get a swatch? Thanks!

I think its really important to have a swatch of the veil.

I brought the swatches to the dress to make sure that the veil that I ordered didn't make the dress look dirty (my dress was ivory)

I didn't bring a swatch when I ordered my veil from Barron's. I just told him my dress was white and I want x,y,z and that's really it. I will let you know how it works out, I'm picking up my veil next month

Your salon should be able to order you a swatch of your dress. There are like 8 different whites, so yes I would bring a swatch with you when you go.

it probably would be best, unless you're in the less common situation I was in (dress and veil both made by the same designer....) I knew ivory meant the same ivory as my dress)

my dress was diamond white and i also ordered from barrons - i did not bring a swatch - actually did not even think of it - i do not think youll have a problem with a white ress - most girls have problems with their veils when they have ivory or off white dresses

btw - loved barrons and i adored my veil
