Ordering BM Dress on 3/5 for 7/30 Wedding?

FMIL was going to order her dress on March 5th for our July 30th wedding. She was probably going to order a BM dress rather than a 'MOB'-type style. I know that it usually takes 3-4 months for the dress to come in according to Wedding Salon of Manhasset. Do you thnk ordering on 3/5 is enough time? At the latest the dress should arrive on July 5th right? That should be enough time for alterations I think.

She'd be ordering it from Wedding Salon, so if any of you have specific experiences with their ordering schedule, I'd appreciate your thoughts especially. Thanks for your help!

Jennie - have her order it early!! My fmil ordered her dress in June for my Feb. wedding. It was supposed to take 3-4 months to come in.. that would be Oct. right?? well her dress didnt get here until the begining of December!!! There were 'shipping delays' and all this other stuff. Then the worst part was when the gown got here the shawl was wrong! It didnt have any beading on it like the sample has shown.That had to be re-ordered and took another month to get here!!
If she hadnt ordered as early as she did she would be stuck buying something off the rack.

My mom on the other hand got her dress from the same place... they told her 6 months to come in. It was here in 4.

But still just to be safe!
