Ordering BM dresses online (Bill Levkoff)

I have found much better prices if I order my Bill Levkoff MOH and BM dresses online.

Any thoughts/suggestions re: best pricing? I know about houseofbrides.com, netbride.com

Just wondering if you had other thoughts/suggestions. Thanks!

Did you call Burtons? They are usually cheaper than every other place and they cap alterations at $50 which could make a big difference if you have girls that will need a lot done. Also, I've read posts on here that RK Bridal will compete with internet pricing.

RK Bridal's pricing was definitely higher, and most of my girls aren't on LI, so I don't know if Burton's is the best option. I will call, though.

Has anyone ordered BM dresses online - any issues?

I have been looking into buying BM dresses online, and I think I probably will go that route.

I am a BM for my friend and I am soooo pissed because we went to Lilettes, a bridal store, and they purposely ordered a dress 3x my size so that they can rake in the alterations. There is a $65 cap, but that is still so much money! When I was a BM for my sister, I took my dress to a tailor and I was told by him that there was not one alteration he could do to it because it happened to fit perfectly. My Lilette's experience really turned me against wanting to go to a bridal salon for my BMs, I don't want them to pay that unneccessary money.

I plan on having the girls see the dress in a store and try it on, and then order it online.
