We are expecting about 200 - 215 guests, but I don't know how many favors we should order. All of our rsvps are not in yet so I do not have a final headcount, but I would like to get them now versus wait right before the wedding to get them. How many should I order if I am giving out 1 per couple and 1 to each single person?

Re: Ordering Favors
One per couple is definitely good. Anything more is getting really pricey. And it okay if you order a few extra favors you can always give it to those who couldn;t make it. (if you feel like they deserve it)

Re: Ordering Favors
We did one per couple, and we were expeting around 170 people so I bought 100 favors. I figured a lot of people were there as couples, but about 25 were there as singles so I figured 100 would be good. I saw some guy at our wedding walking away with three favor boxes the day of our wedding, so I am glad that I rounded up. We had about 15 favors left after the night.

one per couple, one for singles, and about 10 extra ones. When people respond no but send a gift, I plan on sending a favor.

Re: Ordering Favors
I think it depends on the gift. Some gifts (i.e. wine) should be one per couple. Some other gifts (i.e. some types of candies/mints) should be given to each guest

Re: Ordering Favors
I think she's asking how many favors to order for her anticipated number of guests, not whether to give one per couple or one per person.
I wish I had the answer - I'm working on this now. We invited 180 something (see above my avatar) and are hoping 140-150 come. (There are a lot of OOT people, so we don't know!)
We are giving out breast cancer and prostate cancer wristbands to go along with our donation favor (one per person) + 1 bottle of win per couple.
We ordered 150 wristbands and will probably order 6 cases of wine... If we need more, we can get it, and hopefully we won't have too many left over afterwards!
