How do you decide how many favors to order if you haven't received your RSVPs yet? I'm sending out my invites early because of the large # of OOT guests, but I don't want to wait until May to get the favors done.
Right now, we have about 130 people on our invite list and I think most of them will come. Should I just order 130 favors and boxes and just suck it up if I end up with extra? What are you all doing? Thanks!!

We're giving one wine stopper per person and then one bottle of wine per couple. It's a semi-theme since we got engaged at Pugliese

I think we're inviting 145 guests (hoping only 120 come) and ordering 100 favors (one per couple) , i'm expectin gto have extras i guess...

I would order 120. Not everyone will make it. But then again you don't want to be short is everyone does come. I guess go for the 130 and then you will have no worries.

I would order 130 too but I think you should consider giving just 1 wine stopper per couple instead of per person. I am not sure a couple would need two of the same wine stoppers.

I was thinking the same thing or maybe varying it, so they get 2 different ones. I found the wine stoppers for like $1.69 each so they aren't too expensive. FH is adamant about one favor per guest though. It's so weird what he decides to put his foot down about!

You might want to order a few extra to send to those guests who can't make the gift but send a card or a gift.

I'd order about 140...extras in case something happens...check with the place you're buying, you may be able to return those you don't use...I'd also get enuf to send to people who can't come...Extras you could also bring to soemone's house with a bottle of wine....

I agree. I would just order extras and then have some left over. You'll be suprised how fast they disapear.

I would order as if I were expecting everying to come. What's the worst that can happen--you have few extra bottles of wine around the house! And if you have extra wine stoppers, I'm sure there will be people at the reception who want extra. Or is that just my family?
