Ordering Gown Online

any comments on ordering online- i see that the prices are cheaper- too risky???

I ordered my dress online saved lots of cash and it is just as perfect as from the store, I even asked them to add something to it and they did, I was a littel skeptical too but when you think about it you are just cutting out the middle man, they order direct from the manufacturers as a store does but without the overhead, I say go for it my experiece was great.

I thought about having me and my bridesmaids getting measured by a seamstress and with the online buying they display a size chart for each designer- I have also been trying on gowns at the bridal shops and then going to the designers website- finding the item # and then getting a quote for the online discounters.

I actually tried on the dress in a store and knew what size to order because the sample fit me perfect but I did get a local seamstress to take my measurements and used the sizing chart to double check it.

Check out RK Bridal for ordering online. Actually, you have to call to place the order, but they will save you a lot of money. They are well known in the fasion district, so you aren't ordering from a fly-by-night shop at all! I wish I knew about them when I ordered my dress, but I used them for my bridesmaids' dresses and I was overly overly pleased! The dresses came in so quickly and turned out beautiful!

Yes I went to RK and they were great there so im going back- witha bridesmaid and try on somemore dresses

I cant say that i have had a Bad experience but the bridal shop werent what i expected- my first encounter was davids bridal and then the bridal suite of bayshore- they werent all that helpful- however- the wedding cneter in commack were good- its just that the dresses that im interested in they really dont carry or if they do they are so small i cant get a good look anyway-

I had an excellent experience (eek...over 2 years ago) when I ordered my gown and my BM's gowns from BestBuyBridal.com They gave me a fabulous price on everything!! Barbara was a doll to work with.

I ordered my dress online from netbride.com(I am also ordering my bridesmaid dresses from them) & everything was great! I tried my dress on at a bridal shop so I knew which size to get & I saved over $200. Just make sure you go to a reliable seamstress for your alterations & you shouldn't have any problems.
