How far in advance should I order my wedding invitations? I'm getting married on Feb. 16. Also, the RSVP date should be 2 weeks in advance or more?

I'm not sure about when to order... but you should find out when your hall needs to know your final headcount and then give yourself a week or 2 before that. I put my RSVP date six weeks before the wedding, just because I am an anxious person with a need to plan, so I wanted lots of time to get a final headcount from those that did not RSVP and do my seating chart.

Re: ordering invitations
As far as ordering them, you can pretty much order them whenever you want I would think as long as all the information on the invitation is complete and finalized. As for the RSVP, I did one month before the wedding (2 weeks before the final head count was due). This is in case you have a lot of people who did not respond that you have to track down for their response. You don't want to be doing that at the same time you have to give a final head count. Give yourself some extra time.

I ordered my invitations about 8 months out and my last day to RSVP was actually yesterday, a month before the wedding since my final head count is due on the 26th.
And I forgot to add, I still have about 40 people missing their RSVP's

I just ordered mine. My wedding is February 15th. I think there is still plenty of time but I wanted to get a head start on assembling them.
