Ordering invites and favors

How much time should I allow to order and recieve my favors and invites? If I am getting married in April, when is a good time to send the invites out? Thanks...

Usually rsvp date is one month prior to the wedding. You want to give 4-6 weeks for people to respond, so I would say mid February invites should go out.
