Re: ordering online?

personally i liked being able to see the quality of the invitation in person........i sent for a lot of samples online and they were very flimsy----and i also liked working with a 'real' person instead of someone in utah!! this way if things got messed up you just go to your vendor and they will immediately take care of it--i used cathy at sweet nut hut and she was incredible!

I am probably going to order them online. I got samples of the invites I liked so I could see them and get some opinions on them from others.

We did. We ordered from busybride.com. Once we ordered, we got a phone call from the owner and we went over my order. It came out very well. However, before we ordered the invitations, we went to look at invitations in the books at card stores so we can feel the paper.

Yes..definately get samples..The one i thought I wsa going to go with was the very cheap looking when it came in..things arent as they seem in a catalog. Alot of what you will find ina catalog is at Party City..and for 30 % off.You just have to look through alot of crap to find the good ones..

I ordered samples about a week ago, I think its a good idea to definately see the quality, and feel it. Make sure that it is the colors you want also. Good luck, I will post the samples I like when I get them.

Re: ordering online?

the only thing i worry about online is the quality of the paper - but you can get samples or check them out in books in ANY stationary store - so once you find the one you want - you should be good to go online!
Good luck!!

Re: ordering online?

I ordered my invitations online and they came out perfect. I had already seen them in a stationery store but found them at www.princessinvitations.com for about half of what I would have paid in the store. The customer service was fantastic - I spoke with someone a few times and they were always very nice. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them, too. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on invitations, so I thought this was the perfect solution.

I ordered some samples to check it out first. But the cheapest ive found the invite i like is Jamie Lee (online or catalog). So i haven't decided yet. If a live person can give me a good deal then fine, otherwise ill just order it online.

I am planning to order invitations online. Here is the place I plan on using The Precious Collection . The price for the invitations I think I want are really good. You can even see the proof of the invite online if you want to test out some options.

Re: ordering online?

I ordered a sample from The American Wedding and love it. My invitations should be delivered on Monday and I can't wait to see them. I had no problems ordering them online. It was very easy!

Re: ordering online?

Definitely get a sample first - I ordered 5 different samples - and only one was of the quality that I wanted. I havent decided on invites yet - because I have now fallen in love with an encore invite (But doenst go with my theme ) - but if I end up going with the originial ones then I will order online. Just make sure you get a paper proof or e-mail proof before hand - and review it carefully!
