So i was just thinking about this, I wanted to do the chocolate place cards. But When do i order them? i guess I cant order the place cards until I get all my repsonses back so i know whose name to put on them? That makes me very nervous that its cutting it close....

How expensive are they? I would order the amount of your guests you are going to invite... if you have left over you can just eat them,

it might be easier to DIY them .... buy the chocolate bars yourself and wrap them in some sort of labels.
if you order through a company, you'd probably need to do it a few days before the wedding and have it rushed (which might be very pricey)

I actually do chocolate favors on the side. What I suggest is find the place you want to order from. Contact them before you have a final count just to give them a heads up. Most places will ask for a deposit so they could start working on the chocolate (chocolate can last awhile unlike cookies) so they may be able to make the chocolate squares and when you get the final count they could add the names this way it wouldn't be too rushed.

Hmmm you could always do chocolate lollipops and add a favor tag or label with each table # etc...
Im only saying this because then you can get as many as you need and just add labels to them up until the last minute.
I make chocolate lollipops for all occasions, and this actually just gave me a great idea LOL
I did see a bride on here with chocolate seating cards and they did look really cool - I wonder how much they are???

Thanks girls. I would love to Do it myself but I'm so not creative in any way. I'm so horrible with DIY projects. But maybe I'll call the company and see how far in advance I need to order them.

I wouldn't order them to far in advance, it's really hot out and they will melt in the truck! You may be better off waiting until it cools down.

I contacted someone in regards to this, they told me I would need to leave a deposit and then closer to wedding I will give them a list of who is coming and they will make them then and ship 2day express in one of those styrofoam containers to keep cool. They also said you can order extra blank ones and they will give you a special pen so you could write on them if after you placed your order you had an addition/change.
