I see that a lot of 2010 girls are ordering their dresses now...when I put down a deposit on my dress she told me that they wouldn't actually measure me or order it until October. Is this only the policy of my salon or are their other girls who have to wait that long?
The measured me and ordered the dress, but said that they don't have the first fitting til approximately 6 months before the wedding. So....I have to wait to November! Ugh - I don't know if I can wai tthat long - but I am sure the time will fly....
I don't know that sounds a little weird to me, if you put a deposit down then I would think the dress should be ordered. They measured me and ordered mine as soon as I put down my deposit...
It was only a $100...we owe the rest of half of the cost of the dress when we order in Oct.

I put $100 deposit down on my dress at the end of jan - i have my appt for apr 18th and that is when they will be doing my length measurement and ordering my dress
i am ordering my dress on April 14th!!!! yes it is 12 months early but i found 'the dress' & i don't wait to take a chance of it getting discontinued. besides i rather is be sitting in the bridal salon then waiting for it to be shipped.
