Ordering the Wedding Cake

When is a good time to start looking at wedding cakes?

I don't know if I should book it now or wait until around a year before the wedding?

Any advice??

I was told to do this maybe 5 months before the wedding.

But there is no harm in figuring out what bakery you want to order from now. Lots of yummy taste tests lol
