So when do you think is a good time to order your wedding band? We will probably go to the same place that I got my e-ring from. It took them 2 1/2 months to get ring in because it was a speical order and the setting is like a tacori setting with all diamond around every side of it ... so it was special order because it was in a small size and they had to make one, they could resize another one.
so that said, the matching band will probably take that long also ... and what if something goes wrong? or i dont like the work ?

I have my band picked out and it's not a special order (according to the salesperson last month). Our wedding is October 4 so we'll probably get the bands late August/early September which is just over a month before.

If you know what style you want and you know it'll take a while to order, there's nothing wrong with ordering it early (even 4-6 months early). That's better than the ring arriving even one day late!

FH and I are thinking about looking now but our wedding's not until next May. I'm afraid I'll fall in love with something and buy it but I think 10 months is sooo far in advance!

we just ordered ours last night! Grooms is supposed to take two weeks and mine was done today! But I just got a simple band

Our wedding is a little less than 2 months away. We went and orderd our bands this weekend. Our jeweler will have them made in wks. He does it himself so maybe thats what it is faster??

We ordered ours in February for our June wedding....they made mine also, and they came in I think in mid-late March

We are going to the caribbean in September on a cruise so i will probably check out the shops in St. thomas.... That will be about 9 months before the wedding. Hey if i can find something thats one less thing to cross off the list!

I want to do this too but I am afraid I'd be wearing the band before the wedding!

We started looking 2 months ago and I already picked out what I want so we are going to pick them up the end of August. I would give yourself at least 3-4 months. At least start looking. It was hard to find one to butt-up with my e-ring. I didn't want to go custom $$$

I picked mine out 6 months prior-it came in 4 weeks later.....I went and had the sizing, bridge, etc. done the week before the wedding BUT I was really just being lazy about it
It really depends-call the jewelery you will be working with and ask when they recommend you order
