Last night DH made organic chicken. I had never had it before, but it was so gross! It tasted like grains. Has anyone had it/experienced this before?

My family eats it all the time (not me cause I'm a vegetarian), and they love it. For Thanksgiving my extended family had an organic turkey. Maybe you got a bad brand? Most of my family members think it tastes better, and it is much healthier.

That's funny...I actually much prefer the taste and texture of organic. I generally buy Bell and Evans. It's juicier, more tender, and not yellow like the non-organic brands.

Same with me. I try to mostly eat organic chicken and go out of my way to get it when I am making chicken.

I like B&E too. I also buy Empire chickens only. I think they are great. I never noticed anything like that though. Maybe it was the way it was prepared?

DH just grilled it on the George Foreman, but it wasn't a famous brand so maybe it just wasn't that good.
