Organic Food

Anyone buy it? Where? I was looking for fruits & veggies. Anywhere else besides Whole Foods?

Fresh Fields across from the Miracle Mile on Northern Blvd. Trader Joes in Plainview. There are tons of places ... plus, virtually every supermarket sells organic now too.

BTW, Fresh Fields is not a bad drive from Bayside. I used to drive there from Whitestone to go grocery shopping.

Fresh Fields or Whole Foods now is the only place I know. It's not a far ride. I used to work at BBB untill I had a baby. Do regular supermarkets like Stop & Shop carry organic fruits?

ive found that in most major supermarkets now they have an organice food section. right by the other fruits and veggies

I know there's a few Mrs. Greens in Weschester, maybe in LI too?

In Oceanside there's a Jandi's. Used to be in Lincoln Shopping center but now it's across from Blockbuster on long Beach Rd. It's huge and DH and I both love it.

I think Trader Joe's has some organic. There's one in Hewlett and one in Oceanside.

And Stop & Shops have some organic things, you more or less have to look or ask if it's not in a special section.

Also search the internet for farmer's markets. I know there has to be some in the Hamptons areas. Most of them are organic. And you can look into Food co-ops for organic veggies and fruits.

ot sof palces have organic foods. Supermarkets have them, you have to check the labels and the little stickers. I saw in an article once that the numbers on the little stickers tell you how it's grown. I think trader joe's also has a lot of organic stuff.

i know this doesnt help you bermudabride but everyone else who shops organic..Wild by Nature is great. There are 2 stores: one in setauket and the other in huntington. I go to the setauket one and i love it

Yes, Trader Joes does have some organic, that's the place I was trying to think of! And a lot of supermarkets carry organic fruits and veggies now too.
