Organized dancing, and Garter Toss

I do not want any organized dancing, and I am not into tossing the garter either. Some people are giving me a hard time about my choices. What are you all doing? Also, I may or may not throw the bouquet. Not sure on this one yet. I would love to hear what you are doing.

I said no way to the organized line dancing!!! I am still doing the garter and bouquet toss though.

NO electric slide, macarena, or any other type of organized dancing. I want everyone to get up and have fun. I am doing the garter and bouquet toss

We're going to do the garter and the boquet toss and will have Greek dancing. We haven't decided on the organized dancing yet. I think we're leaning more towards not having it. But we'll see.

However, I see NOTHING wrong not having any of it. It's a personal choice. It's you and your FH's wedding. You guys need to do what you want. There is NO way you can make everyone happy.

We are telling our DJ not to play songs like the Macharana or Electric slide at our reception.
We are also not doing the garter toss or bouquet toss at our reception. Instead my dj gave me the idea of throwing my bouquet at the church from the top of the church steps. It would probably make a great photo opportunity but whether or not I do this will depend on what the weather is like that day (I am getting married on February 15, 2003).

I did not have any organized dancing and did not do the garter. My toss bouquet, I game to my bm and good friend. All the others were married, engaged or too young anyway.

I am not doing any organized dancing at all! I am not doing the garter b/c my fiance would be totally mortified to put his hand up my leg in front of our parents (he has those southern values). I am, however, tossing the bo-k after the cake.

I'm not doing a garter and the boutque is being thrown out at the church wedding cermony, I am having the tata tell I think that is how you spell it, it's an Italian dance. hope this was helpful good luck!

We just told the DJ NOt to play any of those songs, even if they were requested. We did play some italian music & our older relatives all did the circle thing, they loved it. We did the anniversary dance as well, it's your wedding -just say no to organized dancing

I want no organized dancing and no giveaways (moroccas, hats, etc..) at my wedding. We will play some Italian songs to please our older relatives and we will be doing the boquet/garter toss.

I'm with you guys on this one -- No songs that require specific dances, no garter throwing and no bouquet toss.

I'm still unsure whether I will give away the bouquet, have an anniversary dance or nothing at all.
