Re: Ornament Favors
You could buy that personalized ribbon and tie it to the hoop at the top.
Then there is the clear ornaments that you could fill yourself with stuff. For a beach theme, sand and small shells, that kind of thing.
I think it's a nice idea. But how will you package them?

I'm going to do Ornaments also. If I put our names on it, I will make sure that our names will be on a tag.... So our guests can take it off if they wanted.
I did that for my first wedding. I went to the mall to one of those center shops ( I forgot what you call them) anyway, I picked out 4 different bears. Santa, angle, snowman, and ? I put them in white boxes and alternated green and red bows. Everyone loved them. Fortunately I went after Christmas so they were 2$ instead of 4$ and they were made of that clay stuff. They were really nice and not at all cheesey. I got 5 opinions b4 purchase.
Also my centerpieces were small Christmas trees and I had some hanging off of them- OK- it was early 90's. I also had points on the ends of my sleeves!

Re: Ornament Favors
these are mine... and I'm adding cardstock paper with our names and wedding date and 'The Crescent Beach Club' with our monogram in the background of a diamond shaped label attached to the top. .
I'm putting them in white boxes with burgundy tissue paper. I'm also putting a card in each one letting our guests know that we're making a donation in their name of Christmas presents to the children and adults at the Center for Developmental Disabilities, which is one of my favorite charities. I wanted to tie our Christmas ornament favor into a charity and thought this would be perfect!
I did ornaments for my favors and I didnt put our names or date on it either. I got them from crate and barrel. They were little present boxes that actually opened and we filled them inside with chocolates.
These are my ornament favors, from Gorham by Lenox. We got them after Christmas so paid about $5 each with a coupon instead of $20 retail. They will not have our names on them...except if we put a removeable tag on them. They open and we plan to make potpourri to put in them, created from all of the roses that my FH has given me over the past year and a half.

I'm actually giving Christmas ornaments as well...regular ornaments with our names and date on a ribbon.

Re: Ornament Favors
How about just Merry Xmas or Happy Holidays 2007. You could always wrap them in clear plastic and put your names and dates on that.
