Orphan Socks

Where the heck do they go?
Last week I had 3, this week I have 4, and none of them can match up!
They can't just walk away?

LOL - Jenn, I have no idea... but you got me chuckling... thanks!

I was just folding my laundry today and was thinking the same thing..I have 2 that don't match..maybe they are in sock heaven??

Renegade socks

my ferret takes mine. I am not kidding, he goes into the laundry basket and steals socks. Then when FI picks up the laundy I really thought they got lost in the shuffle till one day we saw him running with a sock in his mouth behind the dresser and we moved the dresser and it was the land of lost socks.

so when i have orphan socks, i know the ferret stole them and they are hiding around here somewhere.

Mine have built a bunker underneath my house, kind of like the underground railroad, where they help each other to freedom... I swear!

My dryer eats them up

I always wonder the same thing. I wash my socks as pairs and for some reason, there are always some missing.

Do you have pets?

I think a sock fairy comes in the middle of the night and steals socks!! LOL...there is just no logical explanation to where they go!!

I totally believe in the sock monster that lives in the dryer! He usually comes into my bed at night and takes my socks off my feet then too!

I too am baffled...when they don't return...

sometimes it takes them a load or two to come out of hiding

Jen today I did laundry, I had 5 socks I put them all together, who knows where they go.

I seriously think the dryer eats mine...I have WAY too many orphans- and I can almost swear that I put pairs in the wash....
