Orthro Evra patch and HM (personal TMI post)

If I keep going at this rate with the patch (this is the start of week 1 after my last AF) then I'll be having my AF the day I leave for my HM!!

I just calculated it on a calendar.

How can I fix it so I don't get it then? If I opt to get it on the Sunday I get home then I'll be getting PMS (and I get very emotional) the week leading up to my wedding which is a friday and I really don't want that to happen as FH's family/friends will be flying in that week and it will be very hectic.

I should ask my gyn. but every time I call I never get him and he never calls back (he says no one tells him I call, which I can believe, the staff there is SO unorganized).

Did any girls run into this problem? Does anyone know if it's OK (not in all cases of course but if it has been allowed for some people) to wear a 4th patch instead of having the fourth week being patch-free (for AF)?

i would assume that you would use a patch on the 4th week, just like you would start a new pill pack. but i think it would be best to ask the doctor. maybe you can just go to the office and ask him? i will have to do that for my wedding. i am due for AF that week! so i am planning on starting a new pill pack. i have done this before and it has always worked. good luck!

I am pretty sure you can skip by starting the next set of three patches. You will miss you period for that month, and then after you use the set of three patches, you will get it.
