Yes I was thinking of guests arriving and going down red carpet with photographers on the side taking pictures as guests arrive. I was going to see if I can get amateur photographers from some photography school to do it... But besdies that I don't really know what else would be cool... Help me out.

awesome idea! what about at the end of the night....maybe during cake time the DJ can actually hand out awards....ie: craziest dancer, best entertainment, loudest drinker, etc....u can pick certain guests & then just have the dj read them aloud & give them a little oscar statue...it'll give people laughs & entertain them while they're eating

table numbers: u could do names of famous celebrities, or even have the little director clapboards to display the table numbers...

u could also do a formal cake...but instead of a gold bow have a gold oscar so it goes with the theme???

honestly i think u can make it really classy & elegant as long as u stay away from certain things... but if u deck everything out in gold (and possibly black or ivory) ???? & do everything fancy shmancy I think it'll be fab ![]()
(ps: i know those cakes are a little un-elegant...i was thinking of them for more of a grooms cake) but i really do think u can pull this off! u just have to be smart about it & keep it elegant... good luck with it! if u stick with it be sure to post a review with lots of pics!

The colors of our wedding are ivory and gold and maybe a touch of red or fuschia...
I will definitely keep everyone posted as everything is coming along and will write an extensive review with lots of pics! I promise! :)))

I was in times square yesterday and there was thing meet Oscar. You could walk through and take your picture holding an Oscar. You should go. It will be there until February 23. ![]()
