I am not in advertising, but work as a career counselor. I often refer students to salary.com for salary information when they are evaluating a job offer and to be prepared for their interviews. Acc. to salary.com the range for a Senior Account Exec. position is typically $83,795 to $114,052 (pre-bonus and benefits). However, please review the site yourself, since it also provides a description of the position in question to make sure that you are searching for a similar type position.

I'm in PR/Marketing and was offered a position in NYC with an agency that specializes in Travel PR/Advertising last year for a Senior Account Executive position. They offered me 68K. My current company countered that offer so I stayed put.
The determining factor of pay is based on experience and more importantly your area of expertise. The more interesting/glamorous areas such as celebrity representation, travel and popular consumer goods doesn't pay as much as finance, technology and pharmacuticals.
A good friend of mine makes about 5K more than me and has about 3 years less experience. The difference is that she is in technology PR and I'm in travel PR/Marketing.
