I know that this is completely off the whole wedding topic but I was wondering if any of you girls know of any career websites. I recently graduated with my B.S in biology and I am having a very difficult time landing a J.O.B.I started searching for a new job since Apri l(before graduation)!!!!(And have yet to land a job.) I don't know whether its because of the recession, job market, etc...My FH says that everyone is looking for employment but this really *****. I feel bad because FH is footing the entire payments for the reception venue so far.
So if anyone knows of any other websites other than Monster and Career Builder or any job opening fitting my above decription DO TELL(LOL) it would be SOOOOOOOO appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try indeed.com. It covers all those websites at once and you can browse by keyword only.

You would be surprised what you can find on Craigslist. My cousin got a great job through that site. Also, check out Yahoo hotjobs -- or contact a place where you want to work directly. Good luck!

Try craiglist.com (employers actually do call you back if they find a match with your resume as opposed to Monsters, Careerbuilder), nyc.gov, openings in universities (nyu, columbia, etc.). Keep in mind that it is very competitive in NYC area. One listing equals to thousands of appliocants. Employers have to narrow it down among thousands of emplicants that they feel are My sister is going through the same situation and graduated last year with a BS in economics. She's working a p/t time position in a museum. It's been very difficult for recent graduates esp those who had graduated last year as well as this year. Don't give up and keep searching. I second Indeed.com, try Hot Jobs and Simplyhired.com. I use to search company websites of the ones I was interested in working for as well. That is usually best. Good luck.

try checking science related websites and associations too. like naturejobs.com or maybe associations related to science. hth

Also try the Fox 5 website, I think it is myfoxny.com Every morning they broadcast job openings in the NYC area and also post jobs on the site. Good Luck!
