Other stuff to review... :)

I thought I'd post about these good/bad experiences for the 'little things' even though you've all probably heard enough about my big day...but, in the event that it might help some of you... :) Tuxedos: Town & Country in Wantagh. Overall good experience, BUT, get your tuxes early! All 3 of our adult tuxes were fine, but all 3 of our kids tuxes were messed up!!! So much so that my brother-in-law and sister as well as 2 of my nephews missed more than 1/2 of my rehearsal dinner to get it straightened out (they came in from NH late Friday night so it couldn't have been avoided). They were accommodating, but their carelessness is what caused the problem. In the end, they issued a 'free' tux coupon to my nephew to use in the next 5 years...since he lives in NH, we're not sure when it'll come in handy :) Shoes: Sandy's Shoes in Massapequa. Excellent service and very good selection. We also got the 5 bridal party member's shoes there. Headpiece/Veil: The Bridal Boutique in Massapequa. Great selection, good service. They actually messed up my veil but it turned out better than what I ordered so I kept it! :) Seamstress: yngvesdotter.com - Karin was AMAZING!!! She's located in Astoria and is extremely talented and efficient!! I saved over $200 by buying my dress on-line from BestBuyBridal.com - Barbara was a joy! Great websites for the 'extra' stuff: Invites: Rexcraft.com - QUICK, perfect and reasonable! CODWholesale.com - BEST prices on organza bags! Wishbowl.com - Peg does beautiful work! I had bowls personalized with meaningful quotes for all of my sisters, my mom and mother-in-law. Everyone loved them! Kippah.com - Great prices on yarmulkes! The personalization was a big hit! We made our own unity candle, memorial candle, ring bearer pillow, flower girl basket, ladies room basket, programs, favor scrolls, bridal bag...made it all the more special and saved us a bundle!! Whew! Yippee!!! I'm married!!!!!!!!! :)

Tuxedos: Town & Country in Wantagh

I used them for my wedding in August and they were very good. None of our groomsmen came in to be fitted. We just provided them with their measurements and they all picked their tux's up the day before the wedding without problems.
